I'd go for the KVX10 as it's likely to be a nice guitar, it also has a neck pickup...

Plus i've not heargreat things about the chinese made deans like people liking the japanese jacksons...

I actually really want a one hum V, jackson dont do one.

I'm compromising a bit. Not sure about the pickups on both of these guitars.

      Is that Dean really Chinese?

Play both and then whichever feels the best to you go for that one.

I'd also be torn, if it wasn't for that Dean being so damn fugly. I'd easilly pick the Jackson on looks alone.

How much does the Dean cost?

24 frets got to be better than 22, right?
              Jackson KV2
              Jackson KE1T
              Jackson KE1F
              Jackson SL1

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                and finally....

Personally, I would go for either if I decided to go bear hunting.

+1, assuming the quality of each is comparable. Sorry, don't know much about Deans. I prefer the roundhorn style V but, IMHO, the Dean headstock is horrid. Plus the Jackson has 2 hums.

                    Nope. Just different preferences.

I'd go for the Jackson, not that I'm biased, but that dean looks blunt and ghey.

I hate that Dean (looks wise) but I'm fairly sure it would be a solid player, it's a Korean one unlike what people have told you.

If you like thin necks don't get the Dean.

But I really do think that dean looks like crap.

The Dean is a set-neck. That pretty much clinches it for me.

Check out the rr24, one hum, and unlike the dean, looks cool too.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.
