      Thanks!!
I was confused by the inches (i talk centimeters haha) and i thought it was 11/16" and not 1 + 11/16". lol, sorry.

      anyway, i
measured the nut and it's seems to be more like 1 5/8" (41mm).
might it be or i am somehow wrong?

and ifi will buy a 1 5/8" nut and its actually an 1 11/16" nut, would i be able to install it anyway?

the professional series had for the most part all R2 nut widths (1 and 5/8)
most other Jacksons have R4 (1 and 11/16)

Interesting...I never knew they used 1 5/8" too. Euthanasia, take off the locking nut and see what size it is:
            R2 - 1 5/8"
            R3/R4 - 1 11/16"

These are the locking nut sizes...R3 and R4 are the same, only difference is the string spacing.

According to: http://www.floydrose.com/nutsizes.html it can be, but the easiest way to make sure is to take the nut off, under it it's wrriten which size it is.
