This has been discussed before. A lot. That said, I prefer the string thru RR's with the PCS style bridge. I like Floyds and have a few, but I am not a lead player and rarely use a trem.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.
The be-all end-all Jackson is an RR. After that, it doesn't matter (all that much) if it has a trem or a fixed bridge.
...but personally, I do prefer (non-recessed) Floyds.
You can block a trem to act as a fixed bridge, but a TOM can't be "un-fixed" to act as a trem.
And this is the way I see it; You can use your fingers to create vibrato but you can't fill in a floyd route (well you can but it's not easy, especially for a lazy bastid like me).
I only own Jacksons with TOM bridges (and I only own Jacksons...), so you can probably guess my preference.
The thing I love the most about TOM bridges is the height above the body, recessed floyds feel totally uncomfortable for my picking hand. Next comes the sound (I have found TOM equipped Jacksons to sound better than trem models on several occasions) and the simpleness of setups.
I also don't use the trem, even when I play a guitar that has one.
