  • endorsement

Hey guys, i'm new, and I couldn't find a search feature, so hopefully there isn't already a topic about this. But I couldn't find anything on the website about endorsements, and was curious to know if anyone knew what the requirements were and what not.

    Thanks alot

You would need to go through Fender's artist relations department. Unless the requirements have changed, you would (at minimum) need to be in an actively touring band, most likely signed with one or more albums out. A press kit including current touring schedule and/or listing of past dates is probably a must. When I was trying to get something going with Jackson, being signed with one album but no touring was not enough.

You'll have "search" on the main toolbar whenever you log in. I don't think it's availabe unless you are logged.

I think most companies like jackson fender gibson and ESP would ask for the same requirements, one or two albums touring actively and what not...

And yeah if you'r touring have one or two albums get a press kit together this would also be good for record companies aswell...

Can't you just show up unannounced at their lobby with a guitar and a battery powered amp and rock their asses?

How would you guys define actively touring? Is there a minimum amount of gigs they require per year or some jazz like that?

Just show up and announce that it would be in their best interest to endorse you, and that by selecting them as your endorser that they should feel privileged. If that doesn't work........tell them that they lost out, and that you will now be forced to unleash the fury!!!

Call FMIC, there is a voice mail message about the requirements. Hope you can write fast as it goes by quickly then hangs up on you. They want past/present tour schedules, prefer to be contacted by management, FULL equipment list for all band members, press kit, etc. The couple endorsement my band has required approx. 50 - 75 shows a year, basically 1 to 2 shows a week.

If esp gave me free axes I'd jump ship.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.
