Our daughter is a spambot block. She handles our forums, and spammers don't ever get through her. She blocks them, blocks the IP and adds them to her hit list on the forum. She runs a search on the name they register under and the email address/nation of origin and their IP address. If she smells one, she adds it to the database.

She also frequents a forum dedicated to other forum admins and their work, and they share info about spammers there. She likes the challenge of knocking them off...lol
