Hi, i am a noob as u can tell because this is my first post

i been recently been looking into a new guitar, and for obvious reasons i choose a jackson guitar.

but i have a problem, i live in the chicago suburbs and none of my local stores have any soloist or dk2's, only the dkmg's

so can anyone give me any good suggestions on were to find Soloists and the higher end dinky series

Welcome to the forum,

On Jackson's website they have a list of all official dealers in Illinois, so you should check that list out if you wish to try-before-you-buy.

Rjohnstone's suggestion (which you may be happy to know wasn't photoshopped just for your benefit) is a list of the dealers that are friends of the JCF and that come recommended without reservation.

That sucks I usually see at least some dk2s in the villa park guitar center. Gil(Jacksonfreak) works there.

If I were you I would call around to the GC in arlington heights, the sam ash in lombard and the GC in naperville for starters. Those I think are the ones close to you. Nobody else usually carries Jacksons except for the big guys.

those are the places i usually visit, and the only soloist i have ever seen is the one my guitar teacher has
