  • Gunmetal gray - hard to photograph

I've been trying to take good pictures of my new SL2HT, and I've realized that the flake paint job is really hard to capture in most lights. It either comes off way dark or shiny.

Here's the best picture I could get of it (looks rather bland):

Have you ever had this problem with GMG, or really, any other Jackson/Charvel with a flake paint job?

yes, indeed. My fav. guitar color is that kind of "charcoal-ish" gray that's just a bit darker. Never get it right on any pictures, no matter what lightings, flash settings, ........

Beautiful guitar. I really like that color and that is the first SL2HT I have seen with that finish.

Well you're right, but it's a lot better looking in person.

Oh well, I'm no camera whiz. I think I just need to take it outside or something.

place the guitar under a good amount of light, turn off the flash, mount the camera on a tripod or something and try to take a picture. IMO that should work.

                Beautiful guitars. I love them.
