  • Replacement scratchplates?

Is it possible to buy scratchplates for Jacksons? I assume it must be, but can't find any.
I fancy something for the RR3. It has a mirror one just now and I'd like to see what else is available just for a different look.
Something red to go with the red Invaders I ordered maybe...!

Brilliant, thank you. That's the kinda thing I was looking for. Can't find a thing on the net, not under "scratchplate" or "pickguard".

I've been emailing the guy from that link you gave me VitaminG, Dave's his name. Nice guy and very helpful.
I've asked if he can do me a red pearl truss rod cover and maybe a red pearl scratchplate for my black RR3. I'm getting the red/black Invaders to put in as well though so I think the scratchplate might be too much. What d'ye all think?
His prices seem very reasonable and shipping to the UK is great too.

Thank you again for the link. Once I get the RR3 all sorted out I'll have some pics up with links to who supplied the parts. Looking forward to it!

I was after one for ages for my Jackson... Couldnt find a pickguard which would fit a floyded Jackson... How to get it custom cut and the price was a rape (50£-100$). My backside still hurts
If your mum stabbed ya you wouldnt get upset... You would say ' Ohhh shit mum stabbed me! I better go to a hospital'. - Chopper

Ah! Glad I was nice about him then, I never knew he was a member here!

Seriously, the guys like him, and the guy I got my red/black Invaders from (he does all types of Duncan in all different colourings) do a great service for us people. Nice items to customise our guitars at fair prices, makes things that bit more interesting. I salute them, and hope they make a good living from it.

£50? For a bit of plastic? Sheesh, we used to make similar things at school for free (ashtrays I believe we made - ha ha, in this politically correct world nowadays that must be a thing of the past!)
