Re: Pictures of me and my gear

Steve: Yes, that cabinet sounds very bassy... it is made by a company named "Madison" out of Colorado... my feeling is that those guys know what they are doing... cheap and good sounding. The speakers inside are also Madison.

- Furman Rack Rider RR-15
- BBE Sonic Maximizer 422A (same Vito Bratta used to use)
- Rocktron Voodu Valve (pretty sweet stuff)
- Mesa Boogie 50/50 power amp
- The case is an ATA flight case made by ACE CASE purchased from Chris Richley here in jcf (thanks)

On the side I have for recording:

- Boss DR-5 Midi backing machine

Brad, you are funny!... hehehe... I know, I have been slacking off and the faculty of graduate studies just told me that I must submit my thesis to the library by June 10th in order to avoid a full term of tuition.

Hey Rodrigo:

Did you get that Madison cab directly from Madison? If you did, how much did it set you back? I'm interested in getting one but after going through their website, I still don't know for sure if I can buy the cab direct or do I have to go to an authorized dealer?

Econ: I got the Madison from Brian Cahoon, he is in Washington state... nice guy, he is a Madison dealer, e-mail him:

[email protected]

Tell me how much he wants to charge you... I will keep him within bounds..

Beware that those cabinets are VERY bassy... like glory for palm muting but you will most likely have to work hard on pushing the high end thorugh.
