Rodrigo:

Your friend Brian quoted me $255 for the 2x12 and $350 for the 4x12. I cannot believe the prices are so low. He is looking into shipping charges now. One question: what type of speakers are included with the 2x12?

I've heard good things about the Madison, but you might also want to talk to Dave at www.avatarspeakers.com . He has custom loaded cabinets in various shapes and sizes, and at GREAT prices also.

Re: Pictures of me and my gear

I paid $250 Shipped for one, but I was the guys first customer on Ebay!! Anyway, the 2x12 is well worth $255, I think the Reserve for the ones on Ebay were lie $239 plus Shipping, I really want a 4x12 now. they are a palm muters dream, very bassy, but not muddy which is the key here. I can just detach it from my 2x12 VHT Pittbull if I want alot more Mids and Highs only, but I found when the amp 2x12 and the Madison 2x12 are connected together they compliment each other very well and my EQ on my VHT is so very nice, very sensative but has such a wide range of dinamics. Jack.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hey, that's not low, remind him I paid US$175 for mine!... he will probably give you a break then... this is a link to that historical auction:

            http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...518369414&rd=1

hehehe.. poor Brian... I bet he was not happy that day... ... ah!, and mine is new... it came in the original box and looked untouched...

The speakers are Madison.. they wind their own and they are badass!... actually they are the beauty of the cab IMO...

Brian is a knowledgeable guy and he can change the speakers inside as well so suit your preferences... when I won the auction he had a couple of Celestion 30's inside but Slayer (Jack) recommended I took the Madison... no regrets there... if you get a Madison 4x12 chances are you are going to be very happy!...

If you get a Madison 4x12 you should better ask to have installed a couple of treblish speakers on the top for better tonal range... if you get all four Madison sperakers, then you will never be able to hear highs again from you setup... they will be gone forever!...

Ask Brian if he still has those Vintage 30's sitting around and tell him to replace the top 2 speakers of your 4x12... when you get that done I WILL GO TO YOUR HOUSE TO HEAR THE MONSTER NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE!

I recommed you try to get the 4x12 with the vintage 30's on the top and the Madisons on the bottom for about US$300...

I am thinking about modding that cab to be able to have either open or closed back... I want the 4x12 but I will get it custom made by Madison when I get the money.. I want a half-back... hmmm... maybe like a 7x12 with 4 - 12's 1 - 15" and 2 - 8's... yes, that's what I want... bye, bye stupid cabinet simulation, you have been replaced by something called reality!...

(note to self: pay your credit card and shut up)

                thanks Shak...

The charvel there is a winner... I tried to sell her here a week ago or so but I didnt get the interest that I expected. After that I just decided to keep her... I would rather sell the snake if I ever find myself in a hard situation again... that would also be a BIG loss though...
