On another note - would it even be worth me getting one, considering I have an SL3? I'm thinking the quality of the SL3 will be that bit better than the DK2S that I wouldn't ever play the dinky...?

To be honest, the SL3 isn't much different - it's also made in Japan, and having played one, I don't think they're worlds apart at all in terms of feel and such...

Okay. The SL3 has a through neck, so you reckon apart from that things are pretty similar? I'm seriously contemplating one of these, I've found one but I'm still not certain if it's worth it.

Some people say they get better harmonics out of bolt-ons and overall a better feel. It's all up to you dude, especially if the guitars are on par quality-wise. Electronics are always interchangeable and all Japanese Jacksons around that time have more or less the same features. Maybe color availability would be a bother? Either way, good luck with your decision

I much prefer through necks myself, but that Sustainiac is sooooo tempting.

Yeah they do still make the DK2S, i bought one yesterday myself, from dolphinmusic.co.uk. Mines B-Stock tho, i got it for 380 quid, when theyre normally 530.

Guitarampkeyboard.co.uk also sell them. Hope this helps.

Is that the blue one? I had emailed them about that but they hadn't replied to me yet. It's an old one though - by that I mean they've had it a while.
So I still don't know if Jackson are still making them.

You got a nice guitar anyway, have fun with it!
