Tremolo doesn't sound as much like "vibrator", though
Now the BIG question:
Do you personally pronounce it trim-O-low or trimma-low?I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
The most human thing we can do is comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.

The correct spelling is tremolo - as anyone with a past in musical theory should be able to tell you. The word comes from italian (the mother language of music), and can be traced back to Latin.
The way you pronounce "tremolo" in english (american english in particular), it might as well be written "tremelo", or "tremalo". It sounds the same, and that's why people consistantly misspell it.
