Now that I've ordered my new SL2H, I need a good practice amp. I have a Peavy Triumph 120, but I'm getting tired of it. What do you guys use?

Re: which amp?
depends on what your looking to do with it. i use to pod to practice with so that i can crank it up as loud as i want and only i can hear me suck (headphones are great for that.) the fender rock pro 1x12 combo is good for the bucks, plus its loud enough to play a gig with. the peavey classic 30 1x12 combo is also a good one, and i've played a gig with that aswell. but i always end up with the pod and headphones or through my home stereo.

Re: which amp?
Have you considered an effects unit? The Behringer V-Amp 2 is pretty amazing for the money (£99 in the UK). It's not too hot on parameter adjustment, but the factory presets are excellent anyway. Hook it up to your stereo, p.a., or just run it through the headphones. Even has amp modelling!
Sean.
