I figured it would have to be an 80's USA Jackson simply because of the colour oh and the fact that if anyone was going to fake a guitar they wouldn't have done it in that colour and probably would have put the made in USA logo up there too.

Got it from Cash Convertors the pawn shop. I knew the manager and he used to ask my advice on prices. I priced most fairly but the ones I wanted I priced low (giving the manager a host or bizarre reasons which he believed), then i'd phone my mate up who lived 2 minutes away to buy it for me as soon as it got taken to the shop floor.
He takes the guitar away, I go to the cashpoint for his money.

It's hard to get a good picture to show the colour, it's not quite orange, it's not quite pink, it's Orink if anything.

I use to have a Soloist that was that exact same color. I even joked about it being orink. Here's the only pic I have of it! Neck through, Mid range boost, killer tone, Damn! I Miss that guitar.

a couple of years ago there was a gibson l/p custom either a 25/50 annivarsary one for £500 and like the knob head i am.... i thought nah i'd rather spend the money on a week in benidorm.
