I think that if the Fender guys can build "Charvel" necks on the Fender line, then anyone should be able to buy a licensed neck and slap a Charvel logo on it. What's the difference?

Besides the fact that Chubtone is about as cool as a cat as it gets....smoking good player and actually owns a music store some of the So Cal guys here have probably frequented - Squid Music.
