  • It's time I said hello

I've been on here lurking on and off for awhile now and until the other day never posted anything. I figure it's time I stepped up and said hello and introduced you to my kids.
I probably had over a hundred guitars, and traded or sold them here and there until I got my first Jackson in the very early 90s. I was hooked from that point. I have had a number of them since then and for one reason or another I've sold a few of them and always ended up kicking myself for doing it. Anyway, enough of that. Here's the ones I have now. Sorry about the lighting, I'm not much of a photographer.

The last one is a 95 San Dimas III and is my main guitar, The Blue one, I picked up at a pawn shop and never found out much about it, it was recently stolen at a gig so to replace it, I got the DK2M. The DK2M is a good guitar, but it can't really keep up with the San Dimas so I'm still shopping around.

Thanks, I thought it was a PS4 because of the dots, but I didn't have it long enough to really find out for sure. It was a damn nice axe though. And I really liked the reverse headstock. My first Jackson was a JDR and I always like the reverse on it.

          +1.

And "Robert Hendrix" seems familiar, also.
(No, I'm not thinking of Jimi)...
          Member on another forum, maybe?

Actually, It's the only avatar I could find that was small enough to work on here. I need to shrink one of my personal avatars down and change it out, but it'll have to be when I get my PC fixed. Having to use my laptop until then. Hmmm I dunno, I'm on some other forums but I usually use a nickname (usually Guitarman02) I don't even know why I used that here.

I had a guy in high school convinced that Jimi was my uncle.. The last week of school he came up to ma and said "Jimi Hendrix can't be your uncle!" "He's Dead!" LOL definately not at the top of his class.

Too bad the blue one was stolen. The H-S-H config is pretty rare for Jackson guitars.

True, I really liked it. I just count my blessings that I was playing the San Dimas when it was lifted or it'd be gone too... I don't think I could handle losing that one.

And even funnier might be if you were NOT Black either?
(wish my last name was "Hendrix" !) would have made me practice
3 times harder. Welcome to the forum!

"Rare" as in, not available on a wide range of models. Not rare as in hard to find, you can find PS4s everywhere. There were a couple of other models immediately spring to mind - one of the Fusions had H-S-H; and the AT-X, which was only available outside of the US. Obviously neither of these are as easy to find as the PS4 though
                    Hail yesterday

Yep. My first Jackson was a JDR-94 and had the same configuration. Even had the offset dots too. But the PS4 was a far superior guitar to it.

Yep, that's what I meant. It seems like every Jackson model these days is either H-H or H-S-S.
