    can you post a pic of the damage? in all honesty, it may not be all that much to fix it (250 dollars-ish)

      if its an 86, wouldnt that make it an Ontario soloist? Or is my time frame off?

          In most cases, they will not cover loss of value. Especially if said value is too subjective.
          Actually when I broke the head of my washburn Dime V-Pro, the insurance refunded me the amount I paid for it (new), that's to say about 1000€. And I kept the guitar, fixed the headstock and now I'm still riffin it ^^
