I am already an old man

Well, now I've taken a nice clear picture of my 'bird, and posted to the gallery...

Honestly, it's really not that bad as it stands. I've just picked up a 1984 charvel, body is beat to hell and I was going to refinish it but, that relic look grew on me so I'm going to keep it as it stands.

I too have a firebird but I LOVE the graphic on mine so I guess I just got lucky.

It looks just fine. You may change the hardware or pickups but don't touch the paint it is a beautiful firebird. Welcome.

I think it absolutely smokes...it has a black metal look that can't be duplicated.
It definitely has a character of it's own, hard to get that.

Jackson uses alot more than your typical auto finish. I personally would keep it as it is. Being someone who makes a living refinishing, I would try to talk you out of it from the looks of it in the photo.

For the sake of a couple dings, it's not worth messing with. If I were to get my Warrior repainted, it would cost the same as a new guitar.

I liked your design, but when i got to the pic of the actual guitar, it was definatley a leave as is, it has some great class that thing.
Still, you could always build one of your own, or have custom built and have it painted that way !Nice!

That would crave a huge lottery price
