Why are they announcing new models on their myspace page?

OK, I must have missed that, as I can't get to MySpace from work and have missed several days worth of bulletins due to not being online much from home.

Still, I guess I just find it somewhat amusing that there are so many comparisons to other brands, especially BC Rich this time around. I mean, it's been a long time since BCR did anything worth mentioning, so they were long overdue to launch some new guitars.

The only things that disappoint me are 1) lack of ash bodies in the Jackson import line and 2) no Pile o' Skulls option for the DK2M.

Black binding on ebony = may as not have binding at all IMO. I gotta have the bells and whistles.

It looks like a cool guitar and all, but I don't know Demmel from a hole in the ground. :ROTF: It's all about options. The RR24 with ivoroid binding was cool, but came with EMG's and that STUPID fukkin battery box. The Bond RR was cool, but the inlays are STUPID. My god, if you could get sharks on a Bond at that same price, I'd have one.

Don't worry about me though. Jackson has not put out anything in recent history that I would waste my money on buying new. Used is where it is at these days.

Seriously, WTF? Who the hell wants black binding on an ebony board? Thats twice that Jackson had the chance to make an awesome axe and just totally fucked it up. Who is the one that makes these decisions? Its obviously someone who has no idea whats going on. Its not like ivoroid binding costs any more... or does it? :ROTF:

I'm not so picky bout binding color etc...But I would like to see Kahlers, more pickup options, revstocks on USAs! Thats shouldn't be a big change in the USA/cutom shop as far as production line mods etc...

What's that Chelsea chick playing these days? Someone posted a pic of her ripping up a Charvel at NAMM a couple of years ago. Has she got a Strat sig yet? Bet she's not playing a Charvel, or a Jackson.

Expect Phil Collen to be playing a Fender-logoed PC-1, or an ESPee by the end of the year.

I guarantee they're also saying "Jackson doesn't need more maple boards. You want a maple board? Get a Fender."
