          Welcome to the board!
With a string-thru 750XL, you will be well-liked around here... at least by me.

I own a Soloist Archtop Pro, the Jackson counterpart. For some reason, this is the only guitar I own (or have played) where the short scale does NOT throw me off... it always did on Explorers and the like.

You mean Jacksons might be more popular than we realize, and all Jackson owners weren't already members?

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Hey thanks for all the positive comments!! I am partial to the 475 also. That is the first guitar i bought for myself. Picked it up around 1994 (I was 14 at the time) as a NOS. I gutted a lot of fish and washed a ton of potatoes to get it...
That wasn't my first guitar though; that was a G&L L-1000 bass I found at a yardsale (with a peavey 1 15" amp) for $100.00 (thanks Dad). Later a friend gave me a Yamaha Pacifica...or eterna.. or something... I miss that old yamaha....Nonetheless, I have had the guweeter bug ever since. I am attempting to track down a 650xl now Oh yes... it will be mine!
