well, i missed its most recent developments, and i truly have no other knowledge about the thread, other than it's gone. it's not the first time a thread got moved; i don't see why this would cause any more outrage than any other thread that gets moved.

i don't see how the for the fans, by the fans has been impacted.

I think what's been suggested is when some big controversy comes up like that, it ends up shoved under the rug. I think it ended on the ntoe of people wanted to see what the money was goign to, but I'm not sure thats when it was cut.

being someone who's sorta seen where "the money goes," i can tell you that what was previously suggested in the old thread isn't the most accurate picture. then again, when it comes down to it, i don't know that anyone really cares what is done with advertising revenue.

please excuse me if any of the above sounds like i'm doing my old job; i don't mean to, nor do i ever intend to again, but i do have a bit more insight on the topic.

I think a lot of people (me included) just like to see whats being done with their money before giving it. Its kind of like giving to a charity but not knowing what you're supporting.
