i guess i understand, but if you're getting something in return for it, what difference does it make what it being done with the money you gave? i'd be more concerned with feeling like i got my money's worth. if you feel like you get your money's worth, who cares if it gets spent on someone's knitting habit?
on the other hand, shawn has had a great point the entire time of this debate; it's twenty bucks (or less if you got in sooner).
if its any consolation, i know that jeremy has a lot of ideas for the subscription stuff. it's no secret that i was not a fan of the idea (i've posted as much), but there are a lot of things that he wants to do. do i think that all of those things should have been ready to go before any of this was started? certainly. but i think that eventually, things will work out.
...or they won't, ya know? either way, life will magically continue.
