Michael Charvel of Wayne Guitars built a "reversed" version of the French guitar...body was black with gold lettering, same text/style as the original, with a maple neck/board. He offered it to me before putting it up for sale on the website but it just didn't appeal to me as much as the original. This was back in '02, when I was planning my first custom guitar (which was eventually built by GMW), so chances are it's long gone by now.Comment
