From what Ive seen, Id have to speculate that it has nothing to do with the popularity of said artist, because before their sigs came out, I and ALOT of other people never heard of Morton or Bond.
also lamb of god are quite amajor band these days, lots and i mean LOTS of kids listen to them, they've done some BIG shows over here for example

I would imagine that Morton would have worked with Jackson on the design of his personal guitars, and at the same time LOG were getting bigger, so someone at FMIC put 2 and 2 together and came up with an import signature model. Shame it looks sooooo hideous!Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

As for Adrian doing a sig Jackson - isn't he signed up (along with Dave and Gers) to Fender Iron Maiden series strats? It could be possible Fender won't allow any other sig models.

The fact that Jannick is still in the band is a testament to level of coolness and brotherhood that camp Maiden doesn't talk about but actually does! He's a great guy, great player and they're loyal. I never saw them live with him and thought it was too much, in fact, I think they pull it off well. Can't wait to see them in LA a few weeks from now! Who's going?\oo/. .\oo/ @ www.jacksonguitars.com

When I just started at Fender is when we did the Maiden Strat & Maiden Bass in limited quantities. I forget the exact amount, but it was pretty low. So low that I didn't even get one, and I've got a ton of Maiden stuff. Steve still plays that Maiden Bass on occassion.\oo/. .\oo/ @ www.jacksonguitars.com
