      On that pic it has a Kahler on it, but I think that on the Maiden England concert it had a vintage trem... he plays it on Heaven Can Wait.

        Unless I'm missing something, I think Dave had 2 different old black strats with white guards and an h/s/h config - one with a maple board, and one with rosewood. It's been a long time since I've paid detailed attention, but I think only one was modified with a locking trem....

          The new guitar with the white guard has a rosewood board, so it pretty much can't be the same one. The new guitar with the black guard has a different logo position / alignment to the guitar in that clip:

                  and no summer dates yet for the East Coast. This blows! I couldn't make the Meadowlands date and now it looks like we'll have to wait till Fall.

                        OC = Orange County
                        Date = probably the date of Iron Maiden's show in Orange County.

                        • Yea I figured it was a show date, but went to the Maiden site and didn't see any dates with locations matching OC and thought maybe I missed some new dates. Us east coasters aren't quite as hip to the "OC" as those West Coast Groovies :-)

                          • Los Angeles, CA is the closest to OC, but I think it's technically in Los Angeles County.

                            • There are actually 2 shows. They are both at the Verizon Wireless/Irvine Meadows. City of Irvine in the heart of the OC! I'm going with my 14 year old daughter who recently took up guitar. It's been a long time since I was at the Power Slave show in Long Beach when they were recording Live After Death.
