      • Is Adrian quite small? That guitar looks quite large on him.

        • Go the Jackson website and click on the Bloodline PDF catalog. It has the new Adrian Smith signature in it. As soon it comes out, I am buying it! I am the biggest Maiden fan! I have been trying to convert my Strat to resemble Dave Murray's, but have wimped out when it comes to adding a Floyd Rose. Just can't make myself hack up a nice older American Strat. Fender needs an American Strat with a Floyd!

Until Fender makes a Dave Murray Strat, I guess the next best thing is a Jackson Adrian Smith model! Any guess to the type of pickups it has or where it will be made? Any guess to a street price?

          • The Jackson Adrian Smith model is really something to look forward to. There is no substitute for experience and tradition and from looking at pictures of this guitar I am sure it will be a major success. Hopefully the price and availability will match the quality and popularity. Hands down, Iron Maiden is by far the best band in the world.

            • From what dealers have been saying, the list price is well over $2000... sure it will street for less, but when its all said and done, its just a strat with a floyd, no?

Well yeah, but that logic can apply to lots of things if you choose it to. It's 'just' another strat / Les Paul / King V etc....

I believe that was Dave's Black '57 strat that he bought in the mid 70's if I'm not mistaken?

                        • Dave also had an ESP endorsement on the 7th tour and had a few custom Strats made by them, with Floyds.
