Got my Charvel back...

Tech finished his work. My Model 4 lost it's active electronic board many years ago. After ripping the board out, and making the pu's passive, the sound was bleh. So, after some soul-searching, I bought 3 new Duncans off evilBay, and had my tech install them and add some custom touches. The result is a three-humbuckered tonal machine, with 3-way mini toggles that can set each pu to HB/Split/Series-Parallel. A 3-way toggle was added to select pickups between the master volume and master tone. The pickups are Hot Rails in the neck, Lil '59 middle, and a JB HB in the bridge. Overall, I'm quite happy, and the tones these pu's put out are quite sweet.

That's actually a Fender Double Fat Tele. I'm thinking about putting the new Duncan pickups in it that have the three-way sound of single blade, P-90, and humbuckers. It's a split-coil setup also, and I can get alot of sounds from her.

Cool. I forgot about those Double Fat Teles. I've actually got a Fender Double Fat Strat hardtail (Duncan Pearly Gates Plus and '59 with a five-way blade switch... full bridge humbucker, inner coils of neck and bridge, both humbuckers, top coil of neck, then full neck humbucker). I'm also interested in those new Duncan pups, too!
