    That would be awesome!

You are a SICK, SICK man! The sad part is I visualized that, and it made my balls shrivel right up. Instant GAS killer: picture a KV/Strat hybrid. The SRV signature King V

Hey, if Dean can keep rolling out new Dimebag models, surely FMIC can roll out some SRV models right? Ok... I need to quit. I'm scaring myself

Ok here's what I'm thinking for a KV5. What does everyone else think?

      • Alder body
      • 24 Fret neckthru construction
      • Bound fretboard and headstock (white binding)
      • Tune-O-Matic/string-thru-body bridge
      • Dual humbuckers (Duncan? Jackson? EMG?)
      • Black hardware
      • Top wing Strat-style jack route
      • 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 3 way toggle switch

I think it should come in 2 versions, 22 frets with string thru, and a 24 fret with a tremolo!
I also like to se some ghost flames!
        Tell me about it!

That right there is the ultimate KV! I salute you.

This is what I have dreamed of for years and years, and had hoped that the KV2T would be back when it was introduced.
I just don't understand why it doesn't exist. Not even Jackson Stars has a model like this...

Your picture shows the "best case".

The worst case could be this:

            22 frets
            Roesewood
            none-binding
            MOTO

So, some kind of a middle thingy might come out at the end

A KE5 would be ass kicking!

Couldn't we se some mahagony body on the Kv5? And maybe some Dimarzio Dactivators

And about the frets, I DONT CARE! Im just so happy it's done!
But 22 frets is really not that big of a deal, since you only use the 23th and 24th fret like 0,005% of the playing time, and you could work around that problem, it's good with variations on the models!
I also like to se the control layout from the phil demmel on this one, that would be ass kicking!

                AND OFFCOURSE SOME GHOST FLAMES!

As long as it don't get an ugly ass KV2T Headstock, im buying!

I use them very often in solos when tapping, because the 24th fret is the octave.
Work around? Tap the 22nd fret and bend a full step with the tapping finger in a blistering solo? Sorry I'm not that good...

Variations aren't a good thing if there's no advantage to them. IMO the slight variation on the neck pickup position is not an advantage.

i disagree i think it looks fantastic on the white rr24 and the maple dk2m neck. the other darker colours maybe a bit pointless...

I think it will turn out as RR5 in V-shape. So I don't even expect any binding

White binding could be done through the Custom Shop. Jackson's standard binding color is actually ivoroid, which is an off-white.
