Dude, that is the best AD for Jackson guitars I have seen in years [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] So the AD is from Finland? I don`t think they could do that here in the US due to the F**K part of it, that would be cool to see here [img]graemlins/band.gif[/img] Jack.

Yeah, it's Roope Latvala.

This is quite an old ad. That Rhoads in the picture was the FIRST 24-fret Rhoads to be built, and the first custom Jackson to be ordered from Finland. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I also have the October 2002 Issue of Young Guitar Magazine which has a DVD with a small instructional by Alexi Laiho where the backing guitar parts are done by Roope, and he's wearing a t-shirt with the Jackson logo and that same sentence in it - "Get The Best, **** The Rest!"

Darkmare what are you saying? Jackson guitars have been available in Finland since 1985. And Roope ordered his first 24 fret rhoads back in 1987.

Roope's first Jackson RR is not the one shown in the ad. That matt black with white pinstripes is from late 90's. First one was black with yellow bevels.

yeah the 24 fret with the iron cross inlays is a recent guitar, not from the 80's.

Ohh baby! That's the greatest ad I've ever seen. Gotta love how free the Europeans are with words, lol. Fender's been doing good with advertising though, the latest one with Randy Rhoads is awsome too
