My name's David and I'm a 17 year old high school senior from Savannah, GA. I have been playing guitar for only 3.5 years, but I've been playing violin for 11. (yeah yeah...go ahead and laugh) I got into Jackson guitars because of Megadeth, but after having jumped around multiple brands (Kramer, Ibanez, ESP) I've decided that Jackson are my way to go. I'm active in my high school's NJROTC unit as its Command Master Chief and I'm also a very athletic person. Here are some pictures for reference...
Here is our NJROTC's Annual Military Inspection last November...I'm 2nd from the right.
Here's another pic of me after I lost 80lbs...
I don't have a picture of my first Jackson, but it was one of the older DK-2's in Eerie Dress Swirl. My second DK-2 was this one...
DK-2 Blue Orange Flame w/ EMG 81/SA/SA and Original Floyd Rose...
And me shredding on this beast...before the OFR...
Like an idiot, I sold it to feed my curiosity for other brand's guitars. After a multi-axe fiasco, I have come back to Jackson with the ordering of this guitar...
That will be here sometime this week. Just snagged it off the Bay.
Last October, I enlisted in the U.S. Army with an 11x/Option40 contract. (Infantry Recruit/Airborne Ranger) I ship to Fort Benning for OSUT June 4th, 2008, and won't return until after I graduate RIP (Ranger Indoctrination Program) sometime around late November. I'm a little late joining this site, but now is better than never.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to joining the community and can't wait to jump in.
