I don't know my Charvel history very well and just noticed a difference in the logo. One is from a chainsaw case and the other from a SD Reissue III 1995. Could some of you help with a little Charvel history lesson, please?

Re: Would like some history on the Charvel logo
I'm generalizing here: the bottom logo (3+3) was originally used on the San Dimas custom guitars, and later on other USA production or custom shop guitars. Usually gold in color or black on natural headstocks. Must say "Made in USA" underneath.
The top (6 in-line) was introduced with the late-80s imports. Those logos are white.
Adding to the confusion, the new import Charvel line uses the former (3+3), but with no "made in USA" underneath.
...And don't get us started on logo sizes.
