  • Tremolo Trouble

I have owned this Charvette for about 15 years now and it kicks butt on some higher end axes that I've owned and played. It has some tuning issues that stem from the locking nut I think but it plays and sounds great! The neck plate states that it from Fort Worth, Texas but I have a feeling it was made in Korea or some place like that. It would be nice if it was made in the USA but I have my doubts. I figured this would be a good place to find out as I have asked Charvel themselves but I have never recieved a reply.

I do believe the charvettes were Korean. some are cool guitars and solid wood. The Ft Worth address is where IMC (akai) head quarters was. Who owned J/C at the time

That's kind of what I thought. I still think this little axe is the bomb though, I can get screaming harmonics out of it and lots of chunky bottom as well. I've sold much more expensive guitars over the years but I will never sell this puppy. I do need to address the tuning problem though.

      Thanks a bunch!
