What do you think?

I m thinking about to put Dimarzio X2N in to King V and there will be no neck pickup, and it will be only volume knob, that's it. I think for a Thrash metal it would be the ultimate pickup.
What do you ppl think? What would be your choice?

Yep. There are so many variables. Super high output pickups can be great, but if you have a rig with plenty of gain, you can get brutal tones with modest output pickups too. All you can do is break out the soldering iron & experiment until you find what's best for you.

Well it is true. You are 100% corect. I kined of know how x2n sounds. My friend has it in his IBANEZ, and i work at the music store. I have dimebucker on my Warrior XT at the bridge position, and i have Bill Lawrence on my USA RR bridge and neck, and on my USA Fusion i have J200. So i was thinking from all the passive pickups it is the moust metal pickup, if you know what i mean? Plus i thought it would give me a defferent sound from all the pickups that i have on my other guitars. I guess i have to sai that i'm using DIGITECH 2101, MosValve Tube Works MV-962 via MARSHALL 1922 CAB.
Jus need to hear ppl ideas in case i m wrong on the statement that x2n is the moust metal pickup. Specialy when it will be the only pickup on my V.

It is indeed a very metal pickup. It may in fact be the most metal. All kidding aside, the X2N sounds great for such a high output pickup. I think it's a better all around pickup than the Duncan Invader, for example.
