how difficult is it to get the lining out of a HSC?

Anybody ever try? Seems like it's lightly glued in. Reason I ask is I have a good shell with bad lining and a bad shell with perfect lining. Same case.

Just glued in should pop right out no problem.

I have an old Yamaha bass case I use to cart my guitars to church in. Not pretty but it gets the job done. What you may need to do is hack the lining into sections with a utility knife and then pull it free, as I don't think you'll be able to get the whole lining to just rip out.

Not hard at all. One of my roommates a couple years back got really drunk while i was working 3rd shift and tore the lining right out of my rhodes case no problem. Oh also snapped the headstock off my usa rr1. You have no idea how far my foot went up that guys ass.

Well, at least it was a rhodes. Now if it was a Rhoads, then you'd have reason to be pissed. :P
