  • Custom Shop 1986-87

I stumbled upon this site today and thought I'd give a quick hello. I painted graphics in the custom shop of the Ontario California plant in 1986 to 87.

Kind of funny, I'm really not much of a music person, I just painted guitars back then, probably the only non-player in the shop.

Anyway, I have an archive of photos of some of the guitars I painted, I'll try to post some sometime. I did recognize one posted in the gallery here.

Edit: I just noticed my typo in the title....I either really old or I meant 1986..

Have you a list of the ones you've done to tide us over till we get pics?

                        Here's a few for starters:

This one was a contest winner and I think is in Japan

Here's a leopard, is it yours?

                        A skull design:

                        A different Skull:

This was for a band called Rough Cut if I remember correctly:

This one is from the gallery here and I am pretty sure I painted it.

These are the only one's I have on a server right now. I have plenty of prints and slides of others I'll try to post now and again. They aren't doing any good in an old photo album on my shelf.

                              You kick ass!

                              Jackson's just aren't Jackson's without the kick-ass paint jobs. I just have a 2005 Bengal SL2H and a 1995 Lightning RR1.

I wish I had more, especially those older works of art.
