The one I got was 90$ shipped and it wasn't even labeled as JE-1200 in the title. So just search title and description for a better chance.

The JE-1000 is kind of like a wah-wah circuit. It is activated with a mini-toggle switch and then you can use the tone knob to sweep the frequenciy range. When the JE-1000 is switched off, the tone knob functions normally. It is good for getting that Michael Schenker "cocked wah" sound. The JE-1200 is a parametric type mid boost with a fixed (non-adjustable) center frequency. The middle "tone" knob adjusts the amount of boost.
I have had both and prefer the JE-1200, but Scott Ian would probably disagree!

I'm gonna grab the next JE-1200 that's up on Ebay, 'cause there's no way I'll get a JE-1000 anytime soon and I do love a bit of mid in my tone, and my Jackson Stars sounds a bit shit with the alder body so I wanna see what difference it can make. The EMG PA-2 is a piece of shit.
Hey Steve!
