How does this guitar hold up against others in it's price range? I've basically been looking at these; SL3s, Charvel Model 6's, Kramer Stagemasters ect.

I'd personally go for the Model 6 out of what you've listed. I like real MOP sharkies, binding. If it only had ebony.... -
The RR5 has black binding, and personally I'll take a matching headstock over MOP sharkies everytime. If only it had ebony.........

Others to consider, depending on what bridge you want:
KBR (Kevin Bond Rhoads)
RR24 (try to find the limited edition version if you can)
RR1 (IMO, you've got an OFR, binding, and a damn sight better choice in finishes, though it will cost more than either of the others mentioned).Fuck ebay, fuck paypal
