I think it's a great idea, just don't want you to lose out on getting them when they are starting and growing them into the high end names.
I figure a good quality affordable guitar would be a cool gateway drug.

          Matt,
Do you have any ideas as for what to replace the neck thru Jackson line with?
I thought about it and can't think of a replacement? Is there anybody that does NT out there besides Jackson?

ESP and Ibanez both have a few production neck-thrus and the ESP Custom Shop will do them.

+1 I'm hoping your future business plans go well. Sounds like high end custom shop equipment is the ticket. Folks like Indoor Storm down South seem to be doing well with it for years.

                Hello Matt
I am just getting on line and up to speed for the weekend and I saw your post that you will no longer be carrying Jackson/Charvels. I am sorry to hear this. This really blows. I have not personally made a commitment to purchase a guitar from you but I have sent you emails and you have always returned them quickly and always have been very professional. I have read several comments people have made about you in regards to their purchase and how happy they were with you. It has made me feel very comfortable dealing with you and purchasing from you in the future. I will be placing a order soon I am sad to say it does not seem like it will be a Jackson/Charvel

I am sorry to hear this, Matt. So many people have had numerous great experiences buying J/C from you. They are losing a great dealer.

I can only echo what everyone else has said. It's really disappointing that you've decided to stop selling J/Cs. Even though I've never dealt with you from what I've read on this forum I would happily place an order with you. I had considered importing a Jackson USA into England (if I could justify spending the money of course) and it seemed fairly obvious to me that I would have liked to buy from you over any other U.S. store that I know of. I hope that you'll be able to sort out this disagreement with Fender and get the Jacksons back in at some point. Good luck selling those "other brands"...

I didn't realize that Moser has dealers now. Maybe that would be the NT solution.

ESP all the way. All their neck thru are 3-piece no scarf joint unless you request it in a CS order.

Truth be told, I have no ESP experience and am probably biased by hanging around the JCF.
I'll have to try something. Any recommendations?

I agree about the ESP over Moser for the NT. I have the utmost respect for Neal Moser, but apart from the Bich and the SS, everythig he makes is pointy to the extreme. Although I believe he is a full blown custom shop, so maybe he could make you anything you wanted. Hmmm... I may have to talk to Neal.

I recommend just about all ESP standard series and custom shop series. They have everything. Like the Viper if you are an SG fan as well as a Eclipse for the Les Paul fans. Then ther is the M-II for the soloist fans. These are all neck thru and no scarf joint. The construction is superior for tone compared to Jackson guitars.

Unless you spec a Jackson with no scarf joint when you order custom shop. San Dimas neck thru Jacksons did not have a scarf joint.

If you can I would find a store like Matt's that stocks ESP not LTD guitars and play them. I think you will be suprised.

what would it take for you and Jackson/Charvel/Fender to come to terms? Would be cool if it could be worked out.
