Wow, that sucks. It's hard enough to find a good Jackson / Charvel dealer these days.

No one within 50 miles of me carries anything but the low end imports, and actually ordering anything but an Ibanez or a gibson is like committing a mortal sin around here.

I wish you all the best regardless, Matt. Sometimes you just do what you gotta do.

Thats good to know because my days of being a Jackson Charvel customer are over. I will always have a love for the guitars but as for them getting anymore of my business on new products thats over.

I look forward to purchasing a R9 Les Paul or a Custom shop SG VOS in silverburst finish front and back. I will be in touch to place my orders with Matt in the future.

Good luck with *gulps* ESP =(

Also Matt will have good luck with ESP and I am sure he has up to this point as they seem to have a solid product and my reliable guitars have been my ESPs. I am sure their custom shop does not make too many mistakes either.

Look at the brighter side: if the JCF series had continued to #3 a few years ago, you would have most likely been the chosen dealer, but The Curse Of The JCF Series would have caused you to lose J/C shortly thereafter

So, you got a few more years than Lloyd an Kevin did

is on par with ANYONE! Good luck Matt.

well thanks for all your contributions to this community and the Jackson/Charvel brand in general. We all appreciate your efforts. For myself, I had nothing but a positive experience dealing with you on Dweezil #1. Thanks again for everything.

Although I've never dealt with you personally Matt, It's obvious that you are a stand up guy who has many happy customers here at JCF. IMO it's FMIC's loss as they are losing a valuable asset and a great "ambassador" to the J/C line of guitars.

I'm so sorry to read that. I've ordered Matt one SL2H and a custom shop soloist. I was at the point to order a new custom shop 7 strings. It really breaks me the nutts 'cause it was really cool dealing with you, and it's sometimes disturbing to send a relatively large amount of money to someone if you don't know if the guy is reliable and if you can completely be confident.

Too bad, I don't know where to order my 30 year birthday present now! :-(

Sorry to hear about this, but, it could be for the best. Especially since the J/C QA has been suspect for years.

Matt, any chance of bringing in EBMM for the mid line and Reverend for the lower end?

                            +1. Well said.

I've never bought a guitar from you Matt, but everyone says good things about your customer service. And not only on the J/C boards. I saw the 7-string ESP Lynch your organised for someone over at sevenstring.org. Aweseom guitar and another customer that couldn't have been happier. Your departure really is J/C's loss, as well as ours.

Now post your current J/C inventory and we'll see if we can get this mess cleared up for you.

Music Man has been on my mind as a possibility. I've been a J/C dealer for so long, I'm viewing this as an opportunity to further grow my business and reputation as a high end, USA built, custom shop kinda guy.

Matt look into Alembic Guitars. They make mostly high end stuff.

They are most known for their basses and many artist like Mark King, John Enstwh... the guy from the WHO, Jason Newsted and Jerry Garcia all use or have used Alembic.
