  • Who is B.S? Jackson 1986 content...

I have a wonderful yellow Jackson San Dimas (86), Kahlered-strat dated July 10th, that has the initials B.S writtten in the neck pocket. Anyone who knows who this B.S. is? I have a gut feeling this a major mojo guy/gal.....!!!???
    Please let me/us all know!!!!!

Why was I just thinking that Do you have any pictures TS? Sounds like something someone would put in the pocket of a replica. I wanna say though I've seen those initials on hang cards before though.

Well... its not one of the more well known builders aparantly. I'd say pretty much all of the older Jacksons & Charvels have a certain mojo about them though.

Random speculation - maybe those aren't initials? Maybe they are guitar specs, instead? i.e., B.S. = "basic strat" or something to that effect. There were a ton of HSS strat bodies with Kahlers & pointyhead necks done around that period.

I asked a guy that was working there at the time, it was built by Bob Smith. I guess he left Charvel for Tom Anderson.... that's all I've got.
