So I'm a little confused with this No Artist Similar guitar stuff

Title says it all. I've been planning on getting a SweeTone (a replica of the one Mark Morton used to use) made through the Custom Shop for awhile now. I was told a few months ago by Guitar Asylum that they thought it was possible, and the dude who runs the Jackson USA Myspace said that I could get it done but judging by what I have been reading around here about no Artist Similar guitars allowed I'm kinda weary. Here's a pic of the SweeTone:




It doesn't look anything like his Signature or anything like that but I dunno. Do you guys think they'll do it?

Should I just submit a quote and see if they'll do it?

Isn´t that pretty much how that model SweeTone looked originally? If so, I think it should be OK.

There should be no problem, as I believe Mark's was just a standard production Swee-Tone.

Though, you have to be clean-shaven like he is in that pic above. If you grow a beard like he has now, he may sue. :ROTF:
