Those would just be regular dots made out of a different material. Reverse dots, on the other hand, are mind blowing.
ok I'll bite the bullet and call myself retarded, cause I STILL don't get it.

IF you are talking about microdot LSD on cartoon tattoo papers ( you did say" mind blowing" was that a hint or something ) whats that got to do with fretboard markers, or am I having a trip right now with the answer in front of my face, and STILL JUST DON'T see it ???

No, the black dots on my maple board Star are considered upside down.

Reversed could technically be the same as upside down. Just like reverse sharkies are flipped over(upside-down) compared to regular sharkies.

I give up. It's a joke. If you spin a circle 180 degrees it still looks the same, right? A circle is always the same looking, no matter how much you spin it. That's the joke, we're saying that we can tell the difference between regular dots and supposed "reverse" dots, which are just dots spun 180 degrees (hint: they look identical).

ok, 100% after all THAT - you guys are brutal!!!

I should REALLY fire the thread up, and say how much more beautiful the I-been-had fins look compared to ANY JACKSON. << the devil made me say that.

but let me add a little MORE confusion for ya Ben:

I am a lefty, but have always played a righthanders guitar+bass flipped over, so for me I'm always playing upside down AND backwards from the get-go, AND when I look down on my TBX inverted fins, they ARE NOT upside down for me

Actually, that makes perfect sense to me. You're really just spinning the inlays 360 degrees(or not at all), aren't you? Wouldn't that make a reverse headstock guitar with non-reverse sharkies?

now those are some beautiful customs, and no, that is NOT confusing, just additional reason why I keep a few extra DI-GEL GAS relievers in my bathroom medicine cabinet.

SOMEHOW, I KNEW the customshop stuff pictures would eventually appear, and out of the lineup, although the triangles sweep the opposite way of the others on the second from the left, the FAT end is STILL against the tuner side of the headstock, and the BrownQuilted RR, is the ONLY one that has the thin side on the tuner side, the whole idea behind my OP.

and BTW, as beautiful as ALL of the units are for eye candy, NONE of those count, cause in the OP the question was for production models, not customs.
