I recently sold a model 3 to someone that used to own a guitar center and was a lic jackson charvel dealer,he sent pictutres to prove this.he said acouple of things that make alot of sense, first was that they still use bodies and necks that where made in japan in the 90s,hence the inconsistencies in a lot of the models that are out there today and the issues with them. Everyone knows the PS4 is the spawn of the JDR-94, but there are a lot of variances of the body and neck sizes. This guy, Mark, said that for limited run or concept guitar, even the Japan factory was only going to produce 600 of them, they might have made 2,000 of the bodies and necks to that model. The jig setup for the cutting of the bodies and necks only change slightly per run until you end up with a bigger body and thicker neck it seems. I have a PS4 and a Charvette. The Charvette is only a 24 and 3/4 scale neck and there is virtually no diff. in size between my PS4 and my Charvette. I was just wondering if others have noticed the same differences.if you could post pics of ps4 besides 25.5 scale guitars,at the moment i dont have one to compare it with, but would have to say it is much smaller then the pro dinkys i have owned?
