I'd love to see some nice quilted caps on mahogany with bound bodies.
I request Jackson takes some good pictures of each NAMM special (full guitar, full body, and detail) so we don't have to depend on Fullers and Guitar Asylum to do it.
Mike, since we can't depend on the above, I hope you'll post pics after NAMM starts. Any other painters reading this do the same.
Soft archtop soloist reissue.

22 fret 24.75 scale guitars dammit!! Even a simple Fusion with a thicker neck than the early 90`s and 1 or 2 hums or a Soloist of said style, preferably in all mahogany. No SLS Smurfhat shit and fender style bridge again either.
Damn this thread went from some suggestions of what type of guitars they should build for NAMM to what should go into production.
I really do think Jackson does need to get more flexible with their production models and do a variation here and there. Like a batch of reverse headstocks or string thrus instead of just sticking with the same old formula.
So anyways I just wanted to start this thread for suggestion of new and unique things they can make for NAMM. I think there should be another thread for production suggestions.
So if you have a cool idea like adding a lavalamp inside a warrior post away. I know we all want obsolete 80s specs on our production guitars but I was hoping more for some new ideas in this thread for NAMM.
Ok so I was just browsing the bass forum, and they have a cool thread where there's a list of bass brands that each start with 20 "health", and everyb...
Go to the last page. Seems Jackson is the msot popular. Given that the board's clientèle are mainly younger metal heads, it seems Jackson has a surprising following relative to advertising. Yet ESP/Ibanez sell more guitars in that range. Sounds to me like people don't think the imports then are as good of a value or they would buy them. Maybe if they did set up a Korean shop for the pros and lowered the price point, they would see an explosion like ESP/Ibanez/Schecter, at the cost Jackson being the goto guitar for something unique in the import range due to the lack of people having them.
I would like to see some important people's DNA in some NAMM models for this year(does not have to be a artist can be FMIC corporate goon/lawyer with nice 401k). I think Ibanez had the right idea a few years ago and you guys should expand on it.
Upgrade Pro imports (basically to Jackson Stars level, OFR or schaller, binding, MOP) so DK2s would now retail $700 - $800. US custom shop only. This would give us poor players a perfect guitar off the shelf, and all you rich guys can have even more fun showing off your USAs haha!
My order did not have black binding or MOTO inlays. You are talking about the string thru KV right?
Yup, just talked to Piney Hills. The order was a for a white KV2 with standard headstock and standard 25.5" scale length, with a string-thru TOM bridge, color matched headstock, black binding and shark fin moto inlays.
how about black pearl inlay.. i dont think ive ever seen it and think it would be cool to see at NAMM. the contrast on a maple neck would look killer but im interested to see it in ebony too.
