I just saw a Jackson Vinnie Vincent V at Ed Roman's. It got my attention, as one is the new GOTM:

In case he pulls it from his web site (hmmm... that's happened before ), I'm quoting his description directly:
"Custom Shop VV CST, Hot Pink, 1 H EmG Pickup SN 6681"
(I've also got the pic saved on my hard drive.)
Now wait a minute. It immediately occured to me that this serial # would place it after my own custom shop guitar that was delivered only a couple of weeks ago. And I thought the custom shop won't make VVVs anymore? Could it be possible that this is an Ed Roman fake? Simple serial # screw-up on his web page? What gives? "Inquiring minds want to know."
Sully, you seem to be the resident VV expert. Any thoughts? Other folks?
