  • Anyone ever strip an SLSMG?

Just wondering what the mahogany bodies on these look like under the paint? I'm thinking about stripping one down and oiling it to hopefully ease my GAS for a fixed bridge Caparison Dellinger

I'd go the chemical route. Sanding blows
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

"aircraft remover" works well, but your going to want to invest in a GOOD chemical proof brush........and gloves . that and be carful of any inlays, binding, etc.

The flametops have translucent finishes on the back, mine looks like pretty good wood under it!

it's a shame to cover a beautiful piece of wood, but if you're lucky enough to have scored a nice hunk under some dumb paintjob, then let those colors shine!
