Hi, Just to chime in here. I own serveral of the "undesirable" models like the CSM-1G, CHS2, Charvette 270, etc. I picked all of these up for really good prices (I couldn't pass them up). They're nice players and I don't mind beating on them when the wife and kids are driving me crazy. If you like the guitar and the price seems good to you, pick it up.
