Original scans? Just a heads up, many of those pics were submitted by JCF members with the consent to use on the page. You may want to get your own original scans.

Hmm, you come here advertising your company on my site and now you are going to bash me for raising a legitimate point on the issue? Even if I did miss something, being a webdeveloper yourself, you can see that that I am quite busy building this place that you are on right now advertising your company. I don't care who you are, just because you work for the company that makes the guitars I choose to play and BUY, doesn't give me any more reason to give you any respect than the people that spam my e-mail accounts daily. I will ban you as fast as I block those e-mail addresses.
To answer your question, yes I do call myself an administrator, I created this place. What have you done here?

It would look really bad if the first person to be banned her worked for FMIC.

Yeah, Mr Traweek, Sandman is THE Administrator and has done A LOT to promote YOUR company and its products sir... Likely more than your advertising could possibly do... He has been investing a ton of money out of his own pocket and a tremendous amount of time and angst to get this place rolling. Unlike yourself, HE isn't paid to do this and does it from his love of the product.

I think that's an extremely demeaning comment to make, and extremely unprofessional of you. Deserving of an apology actually.

I would also have to say that a lot of people including myself think you should be a bit more accommodating to these requests.

After all, the JCF is the board and info source that probably sells a lot of units for you and your employers... Strange you don't appreciate that all too much.

People that are savvy VERY often come here first to garner quality info from long time users on your product. We give them something your comapny can't. You would think that Fender would GREATLY appreciate that, and make some attempt to throw us a bone.

I see some really interesting things happening with all this on the horizon... I hate to believe some of the naysayers. But, I see things are truly less than ideal...

Hmmm, I have to agree John, very nice and to the point...

I would like to add that Brad, although you post here, and the others, you guys have no clue what's on the horizon for Jackson guitars as we all know them... And to speculate just to keep the wolves at bay is wrong...

There have been numerous conversations about Fender being on the JCF as a company or a representative thereof and I've said it all along, I didn't like it, and more so now than then... I know you guys aren't here for us, there's an ulterior motive behind it, and I'm sure it will show, very soon! It's already coming out I see... Piece by piece... I see that the others took the subtle hints placed all over the board...

I can't believe you would come here and make a post like that to the founder of this forum... I would definitely post a public apology or take it somewhere else bro!

I remember Kevin asking us for help on getting pictures for that page, and I remember how grateful he was for the help of the JCF members. Even Kev couldn’t track down all those models himself, and if he couldn’t, no one could. Its all about teamwork man, and it looks real bad to subtly warn us about using our own scans when many of those scans were submitted buy members of this board.

With all due respect I do think that was outta line. Fact is we are grateful Fender chose to come here and answer questions for the memberhip but being a guest here on a board "For the fans run by the fans" that was way outta line.. That would be no different than us spamming one of your corporate meetings .. Not cool and I agree that Jeremy is owed an apology. I liked the idea that the guy's at Fender were all guitar players and avg joes but we being the consumers are owed a little bit of respect.

As far as the images being the property of Fender, you as a Fender rep have not be worked to be a part of the solution in this situation but rather "Dictated" what was going to happen with that info to us. Fact is most of those images belonged to the members of this board when Kevin E built that website.. These members are not "Work for hire" for AMIC or FMIC and therefore I would disagree that those photo's are the sole property of FMIC. I think instead of being corporate vs buyers maybe it would be smart for FMIC to embrace this place, the core of the membership here is in fact your customer base.

I myself have close to $4000 of guitars on order with Jackson and to be quite frank I won't continue those purchases if we are treated in this fashion anymore ...

Let me throw my .02 in about the MIP. We JCFers are Jackson/Charvel ENTHUSIASTS. We love the guitars, its that simple. We feel very strongly about them. The fact that we want to have the MIP here on the JCF should only make the FMIC people happy. We are promoting their products for free!!! Then they want to gripe about ownership of the scans of the pics. I dont get it, to me its like free advertising. We feel strongly about their products and our very fine JCF admins wish to create a forum to advocate their products and then they are going to get hung up on goofy details like ownership of scans of pictures... [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] I am a long time Jackson/Charvel fan and I have bought a considerable amount of them over the last 10 years. Please keep in mind that we JCFers are your customers too. We are the people buying your products. Please respect the fact that we are proud of being Jackson/Charvel owners and that we wish to purchase your guitars
