Recent convert!!!

Hey guys.
My lady just bought me a Performer PS1, and now I find myself on this forum. Always wanted a Jackson, I've done the Ibanez thing but thought it was about time......

My problem is I've seen a few threads on here about the PS1 and PS2 and I'm none the wiser. It's got a HSH configuration, scratchplate and licensed Floyd. Truss rod cover says PS1, ticket in shop said PS1. Am I safe to assume it actually is a PS1?

Oh and I'm thinking of fitting a kill switch. Love that on/off randy rhoads effect and i think it's the only way to get it.

Any thoughts?

Doesn't sound like a PS-1
The PS-1 didn't have a Floyd, it came with a v-trem.

Doesn't sound like one to me either. PS2 at least has a floyd and pickguard but it's HSS config.

Yeah she's cool. Now I've just gotta persuade her that Dokken are better than Avenged Sevenfold! Will post pics soon......of the guitar obviously!

Don't get me wrong, I think the guitar playing is great on the latest Avenged Sevenfold album. Just don't need to hear it every time I get in her car! I've managed to get her into Kotzen though, so it's all good. Dokken may be more of a struggle.......
