dk2 question?

so i'm thinking of selling my dk2, and i wanted to know how much i could get for it.

it was a standard black dk2, and i switched out the duncan designed pickups for EMGs (abot $200 worth of p-ups) and im including the hard shell case.
it is in very good shape, just one small blemish on the headstock.
the original retail price was $599.
what do you guys think?

When selling a used guitar, you can't really factor the cost of upgrades into the selling price. Yes, the EMGs are an improvement over the stock pickups, and that might appeal to potential buyers, but few are willing to pay much more. Working against you is the fact that the DK2 now comes with "real" Duncans and the DKMG has EMGs, where as a few years back, only the USAs came with good pickups right from the factory.

Yeah I'd take out the EMGs and put the stock pickups back in, and sell the EMGs or put them in whatever new guitar you get.
